Get to know this service

Chiva works to ensure children, young people and young adults growing up with HIV get the treatment, care and understanding they need. It aims to help them become healthier, happier and more in control of their own futures.

Its activities include peer meet-ups and 1:1 social support, alongside an annual conference and regional meetings sharing updates on HIV education and clinical practice. It also runs a website with news and bulletin boards for healthcare professionals, children and youths living with HIV.

Chiva also runs a five-day support camp called Freedom to Be, for 11 to 17 year-olds growing up with HIV in the UK and Ireland.

About

Chiva supports the health and wellbeing of children and young adults living with HIV, through peer meet-ups and 1:1 social support.
