International Gay Rugby (IGR) connects rugby players and fans worldwide, offering news, events and a directory of inclusive clubs. It provides opportunities for LGBTQIA+ people to compete in rugby through accepting clubs and teams, community outreach, competitive play and tournament events.
IGR hosts regular meet-ups and supports the Bingham Cup, a major international rugby tournament. It also works with rugby governing bodies and partner organisations worldwide to improve tolerance and acceptance of LGBTQIA+ athletes at all levels of the sport.
IGR says it is committed to reducing barriers to entry for transgender athletes and aims to make rugby a sport for all. It is a charity registered in England, based in London.
