Get to know this service

MindOut provides advocacy, casework, counselling and peer support groupwork for LGBTQIA+ people with mental health issues. It also offers training for organisations and communities on LGBTQIA+ mental health awareness.

Most services run in Brighton & Hove, with an online support service and a national consultancy also available. The counselling service is sliding-scale, and trans and gender-diverse people can access specific advocacy, peer mentoring and befriending support.

MindOut's services are for LGBTQIA+ people aged 18 and over based in Sussex, though its online support service is available nationally. Services also extend to some people outside the LGBTQIA+ umbrella, including those questioning their identity.

About

MindOut is a mental health service run by and for LGBTQIA+ people, based mainly in Brighton & Hove.
