Get to know this service

New Family Social is a UK charity led by LGBTQIA+ adopters and foster carers. It helps people decide if adoption or fostering is right for them, then supports them towards becoming parents or carers.

The charity works with agencies across the UK to help them become more inclusive of LGBTQIA+ applicants, adopters and foster carers, offering training to agency professionals. Members can access national events, peer support, forums and a summer camp.

New Family Social also runs a long-standing campaign on LGBTQIA+ adoption and fostering through national press, supported by its member agencies, alongside publications and information sessions.

About
