Get to know this service
Out of the Can runs two weekly sessions on Tuesday evenings, split by age group, for young people in Swindon. One group is for those in Year 8 to Year 10, roughly ages 12 to 15, and the other for Year 11 up to college, roughly ages 15 to 19.
The group offers a safe space for young people who feel they belong to the LGBTQIA+ community, including those questioning their sexuality or gender identity. It aims to let members be themselves and meet others who understand their experiences, free from worry about judgement.
The group also has a contact page for anyone interested in volunteering or making donations to support its work.
