Sparkle - The National Transgender Charity is a voluntary-led, registered UK charity run entirely by volunteers, with no paid staff.
It organises the Sparkle Weekend, a family-friendly festival in Sackville Gardens, Manchester, open to all ages, backgrounds and identities. The event features live entertainment, workshops, wellbeing activities, family and youth provision, sober spaces and market traders.
The charity provides training and development to further understanding, acceptance and inclusion of gender diverse individuals. It also holds Sparkle Sanctuary events where gender diverse people can socialise, find support and learn new skills.
