Get to know this service
The Martin Fisher Foundation was founded in 2015 to continue the work of Professor Martin Fisher. It promotes treating people living with HIV with dignity, compassion and respect.
The foundation develops strategies for effective HIV prevention, treatment and care. It aims for zero new HIV infections, zero HIV-related deaths and zero HIV stigma in Brighton & Hove.
It promotes awareness of PrEP, a tablet that can prevent HIV acquisition, and the message that an undetectable viral load cannot be passed on to others.
The foundation has taken part in the Brighton and Hove Pride Festival, walking in the parade to raise awareness of HIV stigma and the U=U message.
About
The Martin Fisher Foundation works to end new HIV infections, HIV-related deaths and HIV stigma in Brighton & Hove. It also takes part each year in the Brighton and Hove Pride Festival.
