Get to know this service
Trans* Pride Brighton and Hove is a registered charity that aims to promote equality and diversity, advance education and eliminate discrimination against trans, intersex, non-binary, gender-variant and gender-queer people. It raises awareness of issues affecting these groups, in particular by organising and staging an annual Trans Pride festival.
The organisation has been running since 2013 and describes itself as a grass-roots, community-led group run by unpaid volunteers, with events supported by more than 100 volunteers. It also runs the Trans Pride Centre, a base in Brighton for its activities, with funding secured to keep this open until 2031.
