Get to know this service
Fast Track Cymru works with organisations and individuals across sectors to raise awareness of HIV, hepatitis, TB and related conditions. It does this through training, education, community engagement and campaigns, working within Welsh Action Plans towards zero new transmissions in Wales by 2030.
Each of the seven health board regions has a coalition of clinicians, health professionals, local authorities, academic researchers, educators, community groups, third sector organisations and people with lived experience. These regional groups feed into the national Fast Track Cymru network.
The organisation has developed cross-curricular HIV education resources to support Relationships and Sexuality Education in Wales, co-created with clinicians, educators, young people, families and people living with HIV. It also delivers training sessions across Wales to businesses, organisations, health and social care teams and community groups.
Fast Track Cymru supports organisations with policies, advice and support relating to HIV and related conditions, and sits on forums, working groups and networks on these issues. It also holds stalls at local and national events, including Pride events, the Royal Welsh Show and World AIDS Day activities.
Enquiries, including requests for training or event bookings, can be sent to fasttrackcities@hiv.wales.
