Get to know this service
Loud & Proud Choir studies, practises and performs choral music to promote equality and diversity, fostering understanding of the LGBTQIA+ community. The choir is based in Edinburgh and describes itself as Scotland's first LGBT choir, singing together since 2005.
It rehearses weekly on Monday evenings in Stockbridge and welcomes new members, with no audition required. The choir performs twice a year to a wide audience and seeks smaller gigs linked to its purpose, such as World AIDS Day and local Pride events.
Over the years the choir has performed at many venues across Scotland, including three big annual concerts in Edinburgh, as well as Edinburgh and Stirling Castles. It has also travelled internationally, including to an LGBT choir festival.
About
Loud & Proud Choir is an LGBTQIA+ choir based in Edinburgh, promoting equality and diversity through singing and public performance.
