Get to know this service

Queenz Sounds is a Scottish-registered charity focused on amplifying the voices of women and LGBTQIA+ musicians. It was founded in response to a lack of diversity and representation within the music industry.

The charity runs live music events, festivals and artist development programmes that aim to prioritise equity, visibility and community. It provides paid performance opportunities, mentorship and creative platforms for underrepresented artists.

Queenz Sounds says it has supported a growing network of emerging and established artists, helping build an inclusive music community across Scotland. Its events aim to showcase talent and create spaces where audiences feel represented and welcomed.

About

Queenz Sounds is a Scottish music charity supporting women and LGBTQIA+ musicians through live events and artist development.
