Get to know this service

Micro Rainbow International Foundation (MRIF) is a charity registered with the Charity Commission in October 2016. It works globally to help LGBTQIA+ people gain equal access to employment, training, education, financial services, healthcare, housing, places of faith, and public places and services.

MRIF runs three main programmes: economic empowerment and advocacy, emergency housing and support, and social inclusion. It also works to raise awareness and eliminate discrimination against LGBTQIA+ people on the grounds of sexual orientation, gender identity or intersex status.

In Brazil, MRIF has delivered entrepreneurship training and small business fairs to support LBTQI+ women, helping entrepreneurs generate income and build business skills. The organisation has worked in Brazil since 2015, including specialised programmes for trans entrepreneurs and entrepreneurs over 50.
