Get to know this service

ParaPride works with social venues, public spaces and online platforms to create inclusive events and social opportunities. These cater to LGBTQIA+ people living with disabilities, mental health conditions, chronic health conditions and impairments.

The organisation also provides training and workshops to help venues and public spaces understand the challenges faced by the people it represents. Its aims include addressing the lack of inclusion for disabled people within the LGBTQIA+ community.

ParaPride also works to provide more accessible LGBTQIA+ spaces and to promote celebration of diverse bodies. It hosts events such as an annual flagship celebration and takes part in Pride marches.

About

ParaPride is an empowerment charity that advocates for LGBTQIA+ disabled people, running events, workshops and research.
