Off the Record BaNES is an independent charity offering free, confidential mental health and wellbeing support for young people aged 11-25. It works in schools, colleges, universities and hospitals across Bath and North East Somerset.
Services include counselling, listening support, youth participation, independent visiting, advocacy and hospital youth work linked to CAMHS. It also runs specialist groups, including support for young parents and care leavers.
SPACE is the organisation's LGBTQIA+ youth group, for young people aged 10-25 who are LGBTQIA+, gender non-conforming or questioning their sexuality or gender identity. It offers group sessions, one-to-one support and mental health workshops led by LGBTQIA+ youth workers.
SPACE to Be offers a similar safe space for children under 13 who may be LGBTQIA+, trans, gender non-conforming, questioning or unsure of their identity.
