Queer Britain is a national LGBTQIA+ museum, based in King's Cross, London, that showcases the culture and heritage of the LGBTQIA+ community. It was established to educate the public about LGBTQIA+ issues, including human rights, equality and diversity.
The museum offers exhibitions and events, including a main gallery with themed displays covering subjects such as the Black Lesbian and Gay Centre and the AIDS Quilt. It has also run temporary exhibitions such as Trans Is Human and Queer Joy, and taken part in Pride events including London, Northern and UK Black Pride.
Queer Britain relies on the generosity of the LGBTQIA+ community, members, patrons and sponsors to operate, alongside an online store and an annual art award.
