Get to know this service
The Fourth Choir is London's LGBTQIA+ chamber choir for advanced singers, founded in September 2013. Its aim has been to represent the LGBTQIA+ community on London's classical music scene.
The choir performs choral works ranging from early music to contemporary masterpieces, and has commissioned new pieces from composers including Stuart Beatch and Kerry Andrew. It has performed at venues including the Royal Festival Hall, the Barbican, the British Museum and Shakespeare's Globe, as well as overseas at the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam.
The choir welcomes experienced singers of all backgrounds and identities, and its members are not all LGBTQIA+. It also supports and raises funds for other charities, including LGBTQIA+ organisations and equality-focused causes.
