Get to know this service

Queerwell is the national community-led mental health charity for people aged 18 and over who identify as LGBTQIA+. It aims to help prevent suicide, self-harm and poor mental health within the community.

It provides a mix of mental health and wellness support, free or at low cost, including therapy, coaching, workshops and playshops. Support is prioritised for those in most need with the fewest resources.

Services are delivered by qualified and accredited therapists, coaches and facilitators, and are described as community-led and flexible. Queerwell runs a weekly wellbeing space in London, with plans for one in Manchester, plus a live online space for workshops and discussions.

Queerwell also offers evidence-informed workshops on mental wellbeing and resilience for workplaces and homes, delivered online or in person. It has formed partnerships with organisations including BUPA, the NHS, the Civil Service, Lloyds Bank and the BFI.
