Get to know this service

South Wales Gay Men's Chorus promotes music education and appreciation among the public, with a particular focus on the LGBTQIA+ community. It also works to promote equality and diversity for public benefit, again with particular reference to the LGBTQIA+ community.

The chorus describes itself as a friendly, lively and inclusive group based in Cardiff that welcomes singers of any musical background, with no auditions needed. It holds weekly rehearsals and performs at local events, and it has described itself as a trans inclusive choir.

The chorus has hosted a community event bringing together LGBTQIA+ organisations from across South Wales, and has taken part in performances alongside other choirs, including at an international choir festival.

About

South Wales Gay Men's Chorus is an inclusive choir based in Cardiff, open to anyone who loves to sing.
