Switchboard is the UK's free LGBTQIA+ support line, offering a telephone, instant messaging and email helpline service from 10am to 10pm every day of the year.
It provides a safe space for anyone to discuss sexuality, gender identity, sexual health and emotional wellbeing, helping people explore the right options for themselves.
The service is run by volunteers from the LGBTQIA+ community and has been operational for over 50 years. It does not receive government funding for its listening service.
Switchboard also runs a Pride campaign called 'Every Conversation Counts', encouraging open dialogue and support within the LGBTQIA+ community and its allies.
