Get to know this service
Time for Inclusive Education (TIE) is an education charity based in Scotland that addresses LGBT-related prejudice and bullying in schools and education settings. It uses a proactive educational approach rather than reacting after problems arise.
TIE provides professional learning for teachers and school staff, creates classroom resources and materials, and runs early intervention workshops for children and young people. It also works with adult audiences, including parents, carers and football settings.
Through its Digital Discourse Initiative, TIE gives schools tools to build critical media literacy and counter prejudicial disinformation and online hate affecting children and young people. TIE delivers Scotland's LGBT Inclusive Education programme on behalf of the Scottish Government, working with local and national education partners and decision makers across Scotland.
