Get to know this service
Fife Pride began in 2017 as a partnership between local organisations, working to improve services, visibility and representation for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people across Fife. Its aim is to create a yearly celebration of equality, diversity and inclusion, held annually in Kirkcaldy.
The organisation has hosted Pride events every year since founding, except in 2020 and 2021 when it moved online with virtual events. More recently, it has expanded beyond one annual event, with a touring programme bringing smaller, locally based events to communities across Fife.
Fife Pride also looks for volunteers to help with roles throughout the year and on the day of the main event. It works with partners and sponsors, and has stated that political parties will not be permitted to take part as organised groups at its events.
