Capital Pride's objects are to promote and celebrate inclusion, equality and diversity across Edinburgh. It works to help eliminate discrimination in relation to the lives of LGBTQIA+ people.
Pride Edinburgh, run by the organisation, is described as the longest-running free celebration of the LGBTQIA+ community in Scotland. It brings together communities, organisations and allies each year for a day of visibility, solidarity and celebration.
The annual event combines activism, music and community, and is supported by volunteers, partners and supporters who help make it possible.
