Scottish Borders Pride organises and promotes the annual Scottish Borders Pride event, along with related community activities, for the benefit of the LGBTQIA+ community and the wider public.
It promotes equality and diversity by raising awareness of issues affecting lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex and other LGBTQIA+ people in the Scottish Borders. It also works to advance education and understanding of LGBTQIA+ identities, culture and history, particularly in rural communities.
The organisation promotes social inclusion by providing safe, supportive spaces and events where people can celebrate diversity and be free from discrimination. It also encourages participation, volunteering and partnership working between individuals and organisations supporting equality.
